Profile

Background & approach

Training

Dr. Di Santo earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating in 1986. A year later he finished his internship at Phoenix General Hospital, then trained as a family medicine resident at the University of California, San Francisco Medical Center.

Board certifications

He is board certified in family medicine. He also carries board certification in clinical nutrition and in anti-aging medicine, areas that tie directly into how hormones, metabolism and daily habits influence one another.

How he practices

His style bridges two worlds: evidence-based conventional care and integrative, alternative methods. Systems biology, the idea that the body's networks should be understood together rather than one organ at a time, shapes how he reads a lab panel. Lifestyle medicine shapes the plan that follows.

At Spectrum HRT

With more than 35 years in medicine, Dr. Di Santo guides hormone care at Spectrum HRT, a practice with over 20 years in business and part of Spectrum Aesthetics. Bloodwork, treatment plans and dose changes are reviewed only by Dr. Di Santo or the clinic's nurse practitioner.

How we work

Our approach to your care

01
Labs come first

We don't start anyone on hormones because of a checklist. Your first visit pairs a full blood panel with a medical history and exam, so we can rule in, or rule out, the things that look hormonal but aren't.

02
Dr. Di Santo stays involved

Dr. Vinson Di Santo or the clinic's nurse practitioner reviews your results, your plan and every dose change. No one else makes those calls.

03
We keep checking

Starting treatment is the beginning of the work. We repeat labs on a schedule and tune your plan using two inputs together: how you report feeling and what the numbers say.

04
Straight talk on trade-offs

Every hormone plan has upsides and downsides that depend on your age, sex and family history. We walk through both, and if therapy isn't a good fit for you, we'll say so.
